Wade Johnson Outfitting (WJO) has arrangements for hunters on hunt both private land and public land Wyoming elk hunts. These private
land hunts take place primarily in GMU Area 7 near Douglas, Wyoming on 50,000 private acres. These Wyoming elk hunts offer the hunter a legitimate opportunity at a 325 class bull or better. These are truly first class Wyoming elk huts with all ingredients of a true western adventure.

Hunters may also choose to hunt the primitive areas around Jackson Hole in conjunction with Double Y Outfitters.
     These hunts are conducted as pack in hunts or can be done from motel rooms or the lodge depending on the hunt itself and the hunters wishes. The scenery on the Wyoming elk hunts is simply breathtaking and the game encountered on these hunts may include mule deer, bear, mountain goat, sheep or moose in addition to big Wyoming elk. 

Wade Johnson Outfitting Also offers some excellent elk hunting in the states of New Mexico, Arizona and Wyoming. These hunts begin in September with the start of archery season and the elk rut. The archery hunts are every bit as exciting as what you may have seen on the Outdoor channel. We utilize expert callers to lure love sick bull elk into bow range. The sight and sounds of a bull elk charging in looking for love or a fight is not something the hunter will soon forget. The archery season is followed closely by the muzzleloader and then rifle seasons in the states we hunt. All of our elk hunts are conduted on some of the more elk rich public land and private ranches in the western states. Our elk hunters often see a variety of both big and small game animals while
